Cash4Trash is een recyclinginitiatief dat dat individuen uit arme gemeenschappen aanmoedigt om afval in te leveren in ruil voor geldbeloningen. Het project heeft als doel de milieuduurzaamheid te bevorderen door recyclebaar afval in te zamelen en te verwerken. Deelnemers kunnen hun afval inleveren op aangewezen inzamelpunten en ontvangen een financiële vergoeding op basis van de hoeveelheid recyclebaar materiaal die ze inleveren. Met dit initiatief streeft Cash4Trash ernaar afval te verminderen, bewustwording te creëren over het belang van recyclen en werk kansen te creëren  in lokale gemeenschappen.
